Wine Advocate-Parker :
Gauby's 2010 Cotes du Roussillon Villages Vieilles Vignes offers clean roasted red meat allied to juicy, tart-edged black raspberry and cassis, with infusion of smoky black tea and a positive piquancy of vegetal and nutty elements akin to chard - a real meal in a glass, and one of the most pure-fruited and cleanly meaty renditions of this cuvee that I can recall, its stony undertone helping project the wine's myriad other features. Fine-grained tannins and a reservoir of primary juiciness testified-to in an exhilaratingly bright and persistent finish suggest that this will remain impressive through 2022 and probably beyond. Look for this to excel though at least 2022.
