Louis Latour : Beaune 1er cru "Perrières" 2016

The 2016 Beaune 1er Cru Perriÿres is showing well, offering up aromas of cherry, cassis, candied peel and subtle hints of coniferous forest floor. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, ample and fleshy, with tangy acids and fine but chalky tannins that assert themselves on the sapid finish. It's very true to type and will give pleasure for over a decade.
